Amanda is: Pasco Raised, Pasco Mom, Pasco Proud!
A 1998 graduate of Pasco High School (Go Bulldogs!), she achieved Bachelors and Masters degree from Western Governors University and an administrative certification from Washington State University. She has nine years of teaching experience in the Kennewick School District. Passionate about the benefits of dual-language education, she teaches fourth grade at Fuerza Elementary.
As a mother of two Pasco school district students, Amanda understands the partnership between parents and educators. She has been an advocate for school boundaries that ensure opportunity for all of Pasco’s students. Amanda is committed to continuing her work to ensure every student in the Pasco School District receives a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, and well-maintained learning environment.
Unanimously elected as Board President by her fellow members, she has earned the trust and respect of her peers by fostering unity, transparency, and shared purpose. Under her leadership, the board has worked cohesively to improve outcomes for all students.
